Lullanny (Chůvánek in Czech) app for iPhone
Lullanny has no accounts, ads or tracking. We don't sell or store anything about you or your child.
Microphone and camera
The child's phone uses the microphone and camera only to tell how loud the room is and whether the child is moving. Nothing is recorded or stored. All that goes to the parent's phone is a number saying how strong the sound or movement is.
The parent can use Lullanny to play a soothing sound on the child's phone (for example Womb or White Noise).
What goes through our server
To find each other, the two phones connect through a small server run on Cloudflare. The server only passes messages between phones with the same code and stores none of them:
- the nine-digit pairing code,
- a random phone identifier the app creates on first launch (it can't be used to tell who you are),
- the battery level of the child's phone,
- the sound level and movement in the room, as numbers,
- commands from the parent, such as turning a sound on or off.
Like any web server, Cloudflare keeps technical connection logs (such as the IP address and time) for a short time, a few days, so the service works and is protected against abuse.
What stays on the phone
- the pairing code and the random phone identifier,
- the color you chose and your alert settings.
This data never leaves your phone, except as part of your regular phone backup, which you manage yourself. When you delete the app, it is deleted too.
What the app does not do
- It has no account or sign-up.
- It shows no ads.
- It uses no analytics or tracking.
- It does not use location or contacts.
Children
The app is operated by a parent. Lullanny collects no data about children or anyone else.
Changes and contact
When Lullanny starts transmitting live video and audio, we'll update this policy. You'll always find the latest version on this page.
