How it works
- Install Lullanny on two iPhones.
- On one phone you'll find a nine-digit code at the bottom. On the other, tap the code and type it in. Both phones then share the same code.
- Switch the phone by the crib to Child and allow the microphone and camera.
- Switch the other phone to Parent. Within a few seconds you'll see whether your child is sleeping.
FAQ
- Do both phones have to be on the same Wi-Fi?
- No. The phones connect over the internet, they just both need to be online.
- When will the phone alert me?
- When your child cries, when they start moving, when the connection is lost, and when the child's phone is running low on battery. You can set the sensitivity on the parent screen.
- How do I play a soothing sound for my child?
- On the parent phone, tap Lullkin and choose Womb, White Noise or Vacuum. The sound plays on the child's phone until you turn it off.
- Why is the screen on the child's phone almost black?
- To keep the room dark. Tap the screen to show the button for stopping monitoring.
- Is this a test version?
- Yes, Lullanny is currently being tested through TestFlight. Live video and audio will come in later versions.
- Does the app need an account?
- No. No sign-up and no ads. How we handle data.
Important notice
Lullanny helps you watch over your child, but it does not replace adult supervision. It is not a medical device and does not monitor your child's breathing or health. The connection between the phones can drop, for example because of Wi-Fi, mobile signal, a flat battery or iPhone settings, and alerts may then not arrive. Don't rely on Lullanny as your child's only safeguard, and check on your child in person regularly.
Safe sleep tip
Keep the child's phone on the charger, at least 1 m (3 ft) from the crib and out of the child's reach.
